Denise Cassidy is a Dublin born artist. She studied at N.C.A.D and Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design.

Her many commissions include work for The Eamonn Andrews Studios, Bord Failte and the Eastern Health Board. She has exhibited widely and has collaborated in cross border exhibitions and she has also exhibited with artists from the U.S.A.

While working with The Boston Slam Poets her work was featured on New York television and subsequently her work is now included in private collections in the U.S.A. She has had many solo exhibitions, including the Bank of Ireland Art centre and Airfield House. Her work is included in many public and private collections in Ireland, England, France, Switzerland, and Italy.

Her work has been featured many times on the front cover of Feasta, Ireland's leading Irish language literary magazine.

Recently, she was commissioned to paint a portrait of the renowned conductor/composer Colman Pearce, to celebrate his life and his contribution to Irish music.

Denise is currently working as a teacher of art for the City of Dublin V E C.
