Denise Cassidy is a Dublin born artist. She studied at NCAD and DunLaoghaire College of Art & Design.
She has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibition both in Ireland and Internationally.
Her work is included in public and private collections in Ireland, England, Italy, France, Switzerland, Tuscany, Spain and the USA and her paintings have been featured many times on the front cover of 'FEASTA' magazine, Ireland's leading Irish language magazine. Denise is a professional member of Visual Artists Ireland and also the Euro-Asian Arts Center, Gallery M in Vienna.
In 2006, Denise was commissioned to paint a life size portrait of the renowned Irish conductor/composer Colman Pearce, which was presented to him to celebrate his life and his contribution to Irish music.
In 2008, Denise was invited to participate in an International group exhibition at the JMA Gallery in Vienna, Austria. She was also invited to exhibit at the Museum of the Americas, Miami, Florida.
In 2009 and 2010, Denise exhibited at the International Art Fair, Forli, Italy and the SYRO FOUNDATION D'ART Alsace, France. In January 2012, Denise exhibited in an International group exhibition at the Euro-Asian Arts Center, Gallery M in Vienna, Austria
Denise's work has been included in the book 'MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS 2009' published in Milan, Italy
